Is it safe for me to consume medicinal quantities of turmeric and ginger?
Just because something is natural and plant-based doesn’t mean it’s necessarily safe. Some side effects have been associated with ingesting medicinal quantities of turmeric and allergic reactions are possible. Those who are pregnant, have gallstones, or are susceptible to kidney stones may want to moderate their turmeric consumption. For most adults we advise taking no more than 275ml of Jamu in a 24 hour period. Pregnant women and children should limit their intake to 50ml per day of Jamu or less. Please consult your medical professional if you have a pre-existing condition before taking higher amounts of turmeric and ginger, or if you have any concerns about taking Jamu.
How long does a bottle of Jamu last?
Jamu has a shelf life of 6 months, without refrigeration from the date of manufacture. Once opened, refrigerate and consume within 14 days.
Why do my bottles of Jamu look slightly different?
Jamu is made from ingredients in their natural state such as fresh lemon juice and turmeric and ginger roots. Natural variation in the product from batch to batch is to be expected, however if you have any concerns about the quality of your Jamu please do not hesitate to contact us at email@example.com
What are your shipping rates ?
We currently ship only to addresses within Australia. For the sake of ease for our customers, the final purchase price includes shipping and handling. Please note that all purchases are shipped by standard post and do NOT include insurance unless you add this item in the Shopping Cart.
How long will delivery take ?
All orders are sent by Australia Post (parcel post) and will vary based on your location. We are based in Wodonga VIC and, for example, an order to Melbourne will take approximately 2 business days, whereas an order to Broome WA will take approximately 8 business days. Please visit Australia Post’s delivery calculator for more specific delivery times.
Am I able to pick up my order direct from you, the seller?
We don’t allow for local pick up. However there are plenty of local stockists from which you can purchase.
What is your refund policy if I am not happy with the product?
If your Jamu purchase does not meet your expectations, please contact us via our online form or write to us at Jamu Drinks; PO Box 36, Wodonga VIC 3689. You have 14 days from your date of purchase to return your goods.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging. Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.
Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment.
Please note that refunds are not available for opened packaging if you do not like the product.
Full refunds will be granted if the product is defective.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
We recommend adding shipping insurance during the checkout process to ensure safe delivery. Jamu is not responsible for any breakages during transit.
